# CPnXZDUxquPjTqTwWe recommend using a 3rd party recording software such as Medal at all times during play. This can be used as evidence in any rule breaking. https://medal.tv/?ref=esports
General Rules
Use common sense.
Do not encourage rule-breaking, exploitative behaviour, scamming or baiting.
Do not use third party software or commands to assist in gameplay in any way.
Do not DDoS or dox the server, or advertise other communities.
Do not discriminate another person for their race, sexuality or beliefs.
Always use English in voice chat and OOC ( // ) chat.
Do not spam in chat or voice.
Always be respectful towards other players.
Do not impersonate staff or other players.
Do not target groups or individual players in a way that ruins their experience.
Do not exploit loopholes in rules/gameplay.
Do not prop/entity abuse. This includes prop spam, climbing or blocking.
Do not display any explicit material.
Job switching to avoid RP is not allowed. This includes avoiding raids, mugs, death, arrests etc.
Do not roleplay whilst a member of staff is dealing with your/another persons sit.
Staff have the final say in any and all situations. This includes interpreting the rules that may or may not be stated.
Always try to have evidence for abusive voice clips, as without it we cannot punish.
Heavy misuse of a job/weapon, wether they were purchased with real money or not, will result in the job/weapon being restricted for a period of time.
RP Guidelines
Do not RDM (Random Deathmatch - the act of killing or damaging another player without a valid roleplay reason).
Valid reasons include but are not limited to:
They damage you first
Stealing your property
Raiding you
Mugging you
Kidnapping you
Arresting you
Invalid reasons include but are not limited to:
They are breaking server rules
They have offended you
You suspect they have a hit on you
You don't like the player
They arrested you
They killed you in another life
They have raided you in the past
They have mugged you in the past
Do not break NLR (3 minutes) (New Life Rule - the act of returning to your place of death before the timer runs out)
When you die, you must wait 3 minute before returning to your place of death. You may continue to defend your base from outside after this timer has concluded but you may not enter the base until the raid is over.
Valid reasons to return include but are not limited to:
Someone broke a rule in order to kill you
A staff sit that includes you is happening in that area
Do not RDA (Random Arrest - the act of arresting someone without a valid roleplay reason)
You may only arrest people who break valid laws or kill people in your vision. Using information through other means (OOC, Discord call etc) is not allowed.
Do not metagame (The act of using outside information to assist in roleplay)
Information gained from OOC, Discord calls, previous lives or other means may not assist in your roleplay.
Do not scam (The act of not delivering on a promise made to another player)
If you agree to sell a player a weapon for a certain price, then don't deliver that weapon once paid, this is considered scamming.
Do not lure/trap (The act of taking someone to a place they can not escape from in exchange for money etc)
This does not include kidnapping players.
Making a trap base where the only way to leave is to pay would be considered a trap base.
Do not place multiple hits on the same person.
You must wait 20 minutes between placing hits on the same individual.
Use of voice changers or soundboard is strictly forbidden outside of roleplay. This includes in sits.
Going AFK on limited-slot jobs will result in demotion.
Do not ask others to kill you for no reason.
Lightsabers must be turned off unless being used. We will not accept 'accidental kills' as an excuse.
Advertising Guidelines
/advert must be used to initiate roleplay scenarios such as raids, mugs, kidnapping, warns etc.
Adverting multiple times in a short period of time is considered spam, unless warning a player.
Warns may be given when a player is doing something you don't like, such as following you around.
When warning a player, 3 warns should be adverted before killing them. The warns should be separated by 3 seconds each.
Combining multiple adverts such as /advert raid/mug/kidnap is not allowed. These must be separate adverts to prevent confusion.
Raiding Guidelines
Always use /advert raid to initiate a raid.
You may only raid as a criminal with the 'Can Raid' tag in their description.
You cannot raid again for 5 minutes.
You cannot raid the same base for 30 minutes.
If you die as a government job during a raid, you may return to the raid after 2 minutes.
If a raider dies during a raid, they may not return to the base until the raid is over.
If the person being raided dies during a raid, they must wait the 3 minute NLR timer before returning to the vicinity of the raid. They may not enter their base, they may only be in the area.
Raids that surpass 10 minutes must end and all raiders must leave the base.
You may not build during a raid. This includes raiders.
Movement tools, such as Lightsaber Jump and Grappling Hooks may not be used during raids. They must not assist in anyway.
Law Guidelines
KOS laws are not allowed.
Laws targeted at certain players or groups are not allowed.
Laws that prevent certain players or groups from being affected by the laws are not allowed.
Laws that make certain players or groups AOS are not allowed.
Laws that disrespect certain players or groups are not allowed.
Laws that drastically change the gameplay for everyone are not allowed.
Building Guidelines
You and your group may only have 1 base.
Your base must not be unfairly large. This is up to staff discretion.
You may have a maximum of 5 fading doors leading into a base.
The gap between two fading doors must be able to fit 2 players.
One-way props must only be used for vision.
No colliding one-way props is not allowed.
Shooting through one-way props is not allowed.
World glow is allowed.
Your whole base must be navigable by walking. No jumping/crouching should be necessary.
When using shooting holes, both parties must be able to see each others head's clearly.
All fading doors must include at least 1 keypad or button accessible from both sides of the door.
Fake keypads are not allowed.
Keypads must be close to the fading door and not hidden.
Keypad hold length must be 5 seconds or longer.
Keypads must not have an initial delay.
Keypads must be accessible by standing.
Buttons must be on toggle.
You can base anywhere, as long as it doesn't block off a major part of the map.
Tunnel bases are allowed as long as there is a 2 player gap on one side.
Do not use your keyboard to open fading doors during a raid.
Do not own the doors of a building if someone has started building there already.
Invisible props may not be used.
You must sell all doors to a building if you do not intend on immediately basing there.
KOS signs must be clear and readable. A minimum text size of 40 is required.
KOS signs must not blend in with the wall they are placed on.
You may not have any raidable entities in your base if you have a building sign.
You may not block off any NPCs. These props will be removed without warning.
Players who have a building sign may not be raided or interacted with in a roleplay scenario.
Players who have a building sign may KOS players who enter their base without permission.
Black textures may not be used to gian an advantage.
Maze bases (bases with multiple possible directions) are not allowed.
Drop bases are not allowed.
Killboxes are not allowed.
If you block off a City Worker job point, you must allow access for City Workers.
Job Guidelines
Only the Bank Owner is allowed to build in the bank. Bank security may assist if given permission by the Bank Owner.
The Mayor may only build in his office.
The Mayor should never base/hide outside of the PD. This will result in demotion. (this does not include escaping through the sewers)
Government may build in the PD if allowed by the mayor, adhering to the building guidelines.
Lockdowns must have a valid reason, otherwise demotions may take place.
Government jobs may AOS/KOS anyone who threatens the mayor. The threat must be real.
Warrants may only be placed if illegal activity is spotted (eg. You see someone enter/leave their base with printers/drugs).
Sniffer Dog alerts are sufficient evidence for warrants.
James Bond is allowed to kill people instead of arrest. This is not an excuse to RDM.
Criminal jobs with the 'Can Kidnap' tag may kidnap anyone for up to 10 minutes using /advert kidnap. This time includes the walk to your base.
There is a maximum ransom of £50,000.
You may kill the kidnapped player after 10 minutes if no ransom is paid.
You must wait 5 minutes after the last advert to kidnap again.
You must wait 20 minutes before kidnapping the same person again.
Criminal jobs with the 'Can Mug' tag can mug for a maximum of £50,000 using /advert mug 'amount'.
You must wait 5 minutes between mugs.
You may not mug the same person for 10 minutes.
Murderers must /advert murder before killing a player.
The person you kill must not be in a public place.
You may not kill others, unless in self defense.
If you are seen murdering someone, you are KOS to everyone.
You can only /advert murder once every 10 minutes.
Hitmen can raid a base if their target is inside.
Hitmen must not destroy any entities inside a base, though they can take any money found.
Street Musician may use their microphone to play non offensive music. This does not excuse mic spam.
Sewer Jobs are only allowed to live in the sewers. They may KOS anyone in the sewers. NLR applies.
Cuphead is only allowed to kill other Cupheads, unless raiding with another person.
Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker are the only jobs without an NLR timer, as long as they die to eachother.
City Workers may prop climb to reach their job.
If you are ever unsure of a rule, feel free to ask a staff member, as they should have the correct answer.
